People are naturally captivated by leaders who display competence at its best. That's why the Filipino people are captivated by Manny Pacquiao during a fight. The same reason why people spend huge amounts of money just to see him fight. And it's the same exact reason why people don't really clamor to get into his concerts. It's because, on stage, his competence (in singing and performing) is not at its best. Just ask yourself this, if you were given a choice to watch Manny Pacquiao fight in the boxing ring OR sing on the music stage, I'm betting that you'll choose to see him in the boxing ring 100% of the time!
To lead effectively, we need to deliver results. And to deliver results consistently, we need to continue to enhance our competence. Nobody wants to join and remain in a losing team. And if we want to lead a winning team, we need to adhere to three natural laws of Life:

The Law of the Outliers
